History of WEC
The Web Effectiveness Conference (WEC) was born from our popular Web Effectiveness Network (WEN) meetings. Since 2003 there have been nearly 50 meetings of top web managers where the most challenging online issues facing corporate communications are discussed.
Attending the conference will enable you to make and maintain contact with high-level peers who are responsible for big complex web estates. Operating across private, public and non-governmental sectors, the conference helps you stay in touch with the key operational and strategic issues‚ and how they are being addressed by fellow members around the world.
All our meetings and conferences are sponsor and vendor free - that means we have to charge more but in return you get to share and learn in open discussions and expand your 'A' network in a social, informal, collegiate atmosphere. It's an opportunity to discuss your challenges with peers at roundtable discussions and real-life presentations with a proper opportunity to question and challenge people who have the same job as you. All in a sales-pitch free environment. Sounds good, but why should I come?
About the Web Effectiveness Network
The original network that pioneered the development of member-to-member networking for senior online communications professionals in large organisations is now 500 strong with members in 5 continents. Group meetings, research and discussions mix an unvarnished and independent overview of online communications with practical insights into current challenges and future opportunities. The events have been renowned for top-of-the-agenda presentations from other group members which get to the bottom of the critical issues facing online communicators.
There is no cost to join but membership is exclusive and subject to acceptance. Applicants must be senior industry professionals working for large corporate or public sector/ non-governmental organisations. Contact Dan Drury if you would like to join or check out some of our meetings past and present.
The Website Effectiveness Conference is produced by Bowen Craggs - authors of the annual Financial Times Index of corporate website effectiveness. The conference is organised by Rising Media.
I'm convinced - what does it cost and how do I register?
